Google Chrome Official Blog

Google has started a Google Chrome blog for announcements and updates related to the Google Chrome browser.

If you haven't tried Chrome, I'd suggest you give it a try. I really like the design, UI, and the do-it-all url/search bar. However, Chrome still has plenty of bugs. It's not super stable for me. I often have problems with it when I'm on Facebook (some functionalities of Facebook won't work in the Chrome browser), it hangs up on rich media and video, and also when downloading. Sadly, a Mac version has still not been released, so I haven't been able to give that a spin. But Chrome is a slick design, an easy interface, and as you would expect from Google, it's an extremely promising browser.

On the plus side, Chrome also offers a pretty cool Incognito browser window. The design reflects the Chrome design in darker tones and is completed by a Spy-vs-Spy style icon. While in Incognito, Chrome does not store your browsing history, so if you go researching oh...let's say...finding the perfect dress to buy your girlfriend, she'll never know. Your browsing history is safe from prying eyes--except for your ISP, of course.

All in all, I use Chrome when I have heavy applications or other stuff going on in the background. But, for day to day web browsing, I'm still using Mozilla Firefox. It's somewhat tanklike and highly adaptable, but I still manage to hang it up when I have 40000 tabs open--which is to be expected. Most of all, I love the concept of Ubiquity and its potential. I'm trying to train myself to use it more, but I forget about it while browsing and don't use it quite as much as I'd like, mostly because its not quite as intuitive as advertised--YET.
