Hulu has just launched a new section featuring Historic Campaign Ads.
Above is the “Daisy Ad” used by Lyndon Johnson when he was running against Barry Goldwater in 1964. It’s considered to be first attack ad ever aired on television.
Above is the video LS mentioned (created by Tony Schwartz of Doyle Dane Bernbach). Additionally, I believe it's also the first televised political ad to get such widespread (free) air play by the nightly televised news media.
