I don't think I've ever had Hovis or heard of it before coming across this today. But I won't forget it now. This ad does what it takes to make a brand memorable. Creates a story and focuses on emotions, humanity, and human engagement. The brand comes last, yet its there the whole time.
The timelessness of this presentation makes the connections between people, and the brand, all that much more powerful.
MCBD did a great job. Music score = amazing.
Microsoft (Crispin Porter + Bogusky) could take a lesson from showing, not telling.
